Students receiving notetaking will discuss with their accessibility specialist how to best meet their academic needs based on class selection and learning style by utilizing the following accommodation options:
- Peer Notetaker
- Class instructors will solicit a peer notetaker from your classes anonymously to provide you with the notes they take during your class session. These peer notetakers will then upload the documents to SAMM for you to access within 24 hours of your class session.
Copy of Instructors's visual aids and lecture notes
- In some classes instructors will provide the class copies of the visual aides (i.e., power points, prezi) used. In classes where this is not a standard practice students students may be given copies of the visual aids and lecture notes of the instructor within a reasonable time frame, preferably before class or within 48 hours of the conclusion of a class session.
