Alternative Format Guidelines
The process of creating alternative format materials can take time. The request for alternative format textbooks should be made at least six weeks prior to the start of the semester. We strongly suggest that students request alternative format materials immediately after registering for classes.
To request course materials in an alternative format, students must:
Request alternative format materials through the
Student Accommodation Management for Mountaineers
Student Alternative Format Agreement form.
Submit a receipt verifying the purchase of books.
When receiving alternative format materials, all students must understand and agree to the following:
Some textbooks may be cut from the binding and scanned.
Under no circumstances will the student copy, share or distribute any part
of the texts.
Alternative format materials are not to be altered.
All alternative format textbooks provided digitally will be deleted at the
end of the semester.
Students understand that violating any portion of the Student Copyright Agreement may result in suspension of alternative format access.
