The Office of Accessibility Services seeks to gain input from students with disabilities regarding campuswide disability support, acceptance, and inclusivity. If you are actively enrolled at WVU as a part-time or full-time student at West Virginia University and registered with the Office of Accessibility Services, we welcome you to apply to be a member of the Accessibility Student Advisory Group.
The Accessibility Student Advisory Group offers input and new ideas by directly advising, influencing, and improving WVU entities on programs and initiatives regarding disability. Group members will work with WVU Office of Accessibility Services on student engagement and outreach projects.
Student terms will last for one academic year (Fall through Spring) with ASAG Meetings held four times per academic year. To apply, please complete the Accessibility Student Advisory Group Application.
Overview
The Office of Accessibility Services seeks to gain input from students with disabilities regarding campuswide disability support, acceptance, and inclusivity. The Accessibility Student Advisory Group provides an active voice in this process. Student Advisory Group Members:
- Offer input and new ideas by directly advising, influencing, and improving WVU entities on programs and initiatives
- Work with WVU Office of Accessibility Services on student engagement and outreach projects
- Review satisfaction assessments and provide recommendations for continual improvement
- Actively participate in four meetings per academic year (two meetings per semester)
Terms of Membership
Terms are for one academic year (Fall through Spring).
Members will receive a survey at the start of the academic year to identify their availability.
